Join us as we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of our Fairwater Plant!

Sand is an important part of everyday life and Badger Mining Corporation will share that message by sponsoring “Adventure Day” 2009. A family event at the company’s Fairwater plant 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday August 29. Admission $5 – ages 4 and under free. Each child will receive a free backpack or pail and shovel! The event will be held rain or shine.

Once at the plant you are invited to encounter many activities, such as, fishing, screening for treasure, making a pet rock, creating sand art, getting a photo taken to capture your adventure, just to name a few. As you continue on your adventure, you are able to take a train ride, receive a tour of our operations and explore adventures that are awaiting you. Then take the opportunity to operate equipment, get a ride in our haul trucks and climb a giant sand hill. On top of all the activities that are available throughout the day, there is also an award winning water ski show at 3 p.m. performed by the Beaverland Must-Skis.
